Birding Discovery Days & Nightjar Safaris
New dates on our web site

The Yorkshire Coast and Forests, Moors and Wolds, are amazing places for birdwatching. With resident species and migrants from far and wide across the globe, you never quite know what the day has in store.

Birding Discovery one-day tours are designed for anyone, from beginners to the more experienced. Each tour will focus on not only seeing and finding the best species on offer but also learning about identification, habitat, life cycle and much more. Join an enthusiastic small group, feel part of a team in a relaxed and fun environment. Places limited to 6, all transport provided means you can relax into the tour. We have three new dates for our popular Nightjar Safaris. These evening forest walks start before dusk with a birding walk looking out for Crossbills, Tree Pipts, Goshawk and Turtle Doves. At or around dusk the Nightjars emerge to perform their ghostly display flight. Please click here for more info and to book a place

YCN expert local guides will work hard to ensure you have a memorable experience. Our small group tours ensure you learn a great deal, from identification tips to field craft advice, as well as getting to grips with those difficult-to-find species.

If you can't find a date to suit you why not book one of our be-spoke tours where you can choose and design your own tour. For more information on this option please email Richard Baines on info@yorkshirecoastnature.co.uk
