Quest photo workshops, Autumn 2018
Hello everyone,

A quick note to say we have 2 Quest workshops later this year that still have spaces available. They’re both classic workshops in great locations which may be of interest to your club members.

The first is Yosemite, surely one of the most beautiful places for landscape photography. The tour will visit all the great locations: Tunnel View, Half Dome, El Capitan etc, and we will also have a chance to try out some astro-photography from Glacier Point - Yosemite has no light pollution at all. There’s a good chance we may even see some brown bears (I saw 6 on my last trip!). Dates: 17 - 24th September (hopefully ideal to catch the Fall colours).

The second is to Venice in November. As well as the great views along the Grand Canal and St Mark’s Square we will photograph misty canals, hidden piazzas & quaint bridges. We will also take a trip out in to the lagoon to the island of Burano to photograph the colourful houses. A wonderful chance to make images of a beautiful city when all the crowds have left and just the city remains. If we are lucky we may even get to photograph St Mark’s Square when it’s flooded… Dates 14th - 18 November.

To whet your appetite I’ve attached some images below. If you are interested please take a look at the Quest website for more details: https://www.questphoto.co.uk or contact Tom: 07515549485 or Colin: 07887 887101

Regards
Tom Peck
